I purchased a Donna Morgan Knotted Crepe Sheath (KCS) Dress in 12 and 10. Both were big. I am 160, 5'8", mostly athletic build, 38C. I have a review there that hopefully also helps with sizing. This cut in a size 10 fit my body a lot better than the KCS cut. The butt pleats are still high so the dress drapes poorly in the back but not as bad as the KCS. With that exception, this dress fits pretty well in all other areas. The caveat is that the arm holes are quite big. Unless I am slouching over I can see my bra/breast in the sleeve hole. If I stand up straight, the dress drapes a little awkwardly. If I slouch, those issues generally go away. Based on that I could see this dress being good for someone who was mainly hunched over a computer or copy machine. Admittedly, I spend more time at my desk than I would prefer but I try really hard to sit up straight which would make my bra show. Committing to wearing a cardigan all day could definitely alleviate that situation. Perhaps some alteration could help, although I'm not sure how to accomplish that here. The lines in the dress are pretty good, so this might be one that you have to try before you keep.I’m 5’8 and the dress was an inch or two below my knee! That rarely happens. I have 40DD chest so my cleavage pops a bit (what else is new). For the price, well worth it. Fully lined. However, a few threads started coming undone after I dry cleaned it and wore a couple times. Hence the 4/5 stars.Overall, I like this dress. The v-neck plunges lower than I anticipated, which means I can't wear it to work as intended. However, it fits well and the color is better in person. I'll hem it an inch or so, as I do every dress, and it will be ready to wear to a party or dinner.This is a beautiful and well made dress. I returned it only because The was large at the hips but fit me perfectly at the shoulders and bustline. I considered having a seamstress alter it for me because a size smaller wouldn't work. I would definitely recommend this sophisticated dress to a women with an hourglass figure. I've always had a problem with my small hips.Great office dress. I’m 5’7” and the dress cones just a tad bit above mid-calf for me. I also know this designer clothes being somewhat small, so I ordered the next size up. Glad I did. Though, my regular size (which is 6) may fit, it would be a little too hugging all over. If you prefer a tighter fit, you may wish to go with your regular size.Also, the dress is 100% polyester which makes it suitable for warm but not hot weather. Hope it still be at least somewhat breathable:) Wish it had a cotton lining.I’m 5’4” and about 130 pounds athletic build...The dress fits like most Donna Morgan except it’s a little tight in the shoulders if you’re athletically built. I bought a size 2 and it does fit like a glove just a little tight on the shoulders for the first hour or so.This dress fits nicely and is very flattering. I like the material and the color (I got both the red and the blue). However, I had to return both dresses because they are too long ( I am 5'7 and I got the size 12).I usually wear a size 12 , the 12 was too tight and size 14 fit, but because of my tummy wasn't veryFlattering so I ordered a size 16 ! It gives me alittle bit of room and looks nice.
